Wyoming Department of Health and Hot Springs County Public Health continue utilizing contact tracing to conduct the investigation into anyone who may have had direct contact with the positive individuals.

Hot Springs County Public Health was notified this morning Thursday 5/21, of two (2) more Positive Test Results, bringing the number of identified active cases in Hot Springs County to: NOTE...one of the positive tests here is a resident of another county, so though they are isolated here in Hot Springs County, their number is moved there. Please recall our first positive test who was a Washakie County resident. Sorry for that confusion, but that is how it is done. THE OFFICIAL NUMBER OF IDENTIFIED ACTIVE CASES IN HOT SPRINGS COUNTY IS SIX (6)

The contact tracing for the first three (3) positive cases is winding down. If you have not been contacted, you are not considered a direct contact to those individuals. A Contact Tracing investigation by Wyoming Department of Health and Hot Springs County Public Health is ongoing on the other new positive cases.
