HSC Covid-19 Incident Management Team Situation Report April 28 , 2020 4:40pm   

Updates will be provided on this website by the Unified Command twice daily. Wyoming laboratory confirmed cases are 404, 140 probable cases in Wyoming, 7 COVID-19 related deaths in Wyoming. Remember, probable refers to individuals who are symptomatic and have had direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. 

Governor Gordon released the updated statewide orders effective May 1st through May 15th. The orders can be viewed by clicking the link below.

Hot Springs County test results to date include: 

  • 35 tests completed 
  • 2 positive test results 
  • 2 probable cases 
  • 1 recovered (results unavailable for Washakie resident)
  • 33 negative test results
  • 0 pending result
  • 48 individuals asked to isolate at home

Wyoming Public Health Lab has now expanded the capacity to test for COVID-19. This will provide Hot Springs County the ability to collect more samples for evaluation. According to the CDC a wide range of COVID-19 symptoms include: fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell. These symptoms range from mild symptoms to severe illness. These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. If you feel you or someone in your family should be tested, please contact your healthcare provider.
