-Field Review Schedule-On-Site Review of Properties within Hot Springs County, Wyoming
Hot Springs County Assessor’s Office conducts an on-going and continuous
program of reviewing all properties. This review includes checking the size,
type, condition and other characteristic information of all improvements on the
property. These field checks are
required by Wyoming Statutes and Department of Revenue Rules to ensure the
information used in the valuation of properties is current and accurate. In
addition, new construction and changes identified are reviewed and listed for
Assessor’s office has a staff of five Appraisers conducting inspections. All
employees have photo identification issued by the county. They operate county
vehicles. The first step in every property visit is to go to the door, identify
themselves and explain the purpose of their visit. If no one is home, they
leave a ‘Door-Hanger’ stating their names, our office phone number, and notes
on any information that may be needed, and verify exterior property

The Goal of this office is to accurately, equitably and fairly value all property in Hot Springs County according to state law. Uniform values are the basis of a fair property tax system. It is your right and responsibility to make sure that the information used to value your property is accurate and up to date. Property records are available for your review at all times, and we welcome your comments and concerns.
Wyoming law requires that all property be valued at "Fair Market Value" with the exception of agricultural lands which are to be valued at their productive capability. "Fair Market Value" is the price a knowledgeable buyer would be willing to pay for your property in its current condition.

Hot Springs County Prescription Drug Discount Cards
The county is making free prescription drug discount cards available under a program sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACo) that offers average savings of 20 percent off the retail price of commonly prescribed drugs. (see Naco-Hot Springs County Prescription Drug Card information below)
NACo is pleased to announce a new online feature for NACo’s Prescription Discount Card Program! Now county residents have the convenient option to print a dynamic ID card directly from the Internet, for immediate use at any participating pharmacy. This new ID card is not intended to replace printed ID cards or marketing materials, but enhances and broadens your ability to distribute the NACo Prescription Discount Card to your residents.
County residents can visit www.caremark.com/naco 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to print a live, personalized ID card featuring your county name and seal. Savings are available immediately at any participating pharmacy.
Enrollment is easy, convenient and secure
1. Access www.caremark.com/naco and select “Print a card” at the
top of the front page
2. Utilize the map tool to select the relevant state and county
3. A simple form is completed
4. Select “Print Card” to generate a personal ID card
5. The ID card can be used immediately at any participating pharmacy
